An Indie Explosion for Netflix Streaming

Netflix has just secured deals with a bunch of indie distributors—The Criterion Collection (expect even more goodness), Gravitas Ventures, Kino Lorber, Music Box Films, Oscilloscope Laboratories and Regent Releasing—to stream over 300 new flicks.

Netflix is great. But I'm a little concerned with the lack of competition. I could see this creeping to 19.99/month within the next year or so. I'd think a company like Redbox would want to get in on the streaming side of life.
