Not being able to find your important stuff (keys, wallet, purse) around the house, or waiting at baggage claim wondering whether your luggage even made it, is never a good feeling. If you’d like to always stay up-to-date about the whereabouts of your stuff and are an Apple user, AirTags can be a good investment.

The second-generation AirTags are here, and you can currently grab a pack of four for $89 at Amazon. That’s $10 less than what they usually retail for. Delivery is free, so you’re saving a bit on that front, too.

Multiple ways to track essentials

You’re getting four AirTags here, which means you can attach one to every important item; pop one into your wallet, attach the second to your keys, and drop one in your everyday backpack! Once the tags are paired with your device (smartphone, iPad, Apple Watch), you can view the location of the tag on it.

There are a few ways to track the tags down. The easiest is to follow the step-by-step directions using the Find My app. This comes in handy when you’re looking for stuff that you know is nearby, such as car keys at home. You can also ring the AirTags to find the exact location. If something is farther away, the Find My network can help find it using nearby Apple devices anonymously. And if you still can’t find your item, you can put it in Lost Mode and be alerted as soon as it’s spotted by a device in the network.

You can share a single AirTag with up to five people. This flexibility is nice to have, as it lets all the family members/friends keep an eye on items that everyone uses. You can also temporarily share access with third parties like airlines to get further assistance on lost stuff.

The standard battery in the second-generation AirTags can last for over a year. It’s replaceable, and your phone will alert you when it’s time to swap it out! You can now enjoy all these features and more without paying the full $99 price for a 4-pack of the 2nd-generation AirTags. The bundle is now sitting at $89, which works out to a little over $22 per tag. A single tag retails for $29, so this four-pack gives you better value if you’re planning to pick a few.
