Apple Clears Out Games And Accessories to Make Space For In-Store Setup Services

Apple is doing some spring cleaning at its retail stores by getting rid of shelf space for 32 games and some hardware peripherals like printers and harddrives for more space for personalized set-up services. [The Loop via CrunchGear]

I bought a mbpro a couple years ago at an apple retail store. It will be the last time I buy something from an apple retail store. I walked in, pointed to the laptop I wanted and said I had military discount. She then basically spent the next 10 minutes trying to upsell me on all kinds of crap I didn't want. I just kept saying "No thanks, just bring me the laptop"... but she wouldn't give. After 10 minutes I finally told her to give it up or else I am leaving.

Thank god for amazon.
