Ok, it's obvious Apple is wiping the floor with its competitors when it comes to MP3 players and its new video iPod. Style, word of mouth and general lemming-like behavior make the iPod in all its incarnations a ridiculously popular product that isn't going away anytime soon. But what about Apple's other technology? You know, like computers? Well, if you're a fan of the brand, you'll be happy to hear that according to a recent study, Apple's notebook computers should see an increase in sales of 42 percent next year, giving them a 4.7 percent market share, up from 3.9 this year. The good news for us is this increase will spur new offerings this year, such as 12-and 14-inch notebooks, weighing in at 3.3 lb. and 4.4 lb. respectively.
