According to 9-to-5’s reliable sources, Apple filmed a funny sketch re-writing the story of Powell and his lost iPhone prototype. The short features John Hodgman—who plays PC Guy in Apple’s commercials—playing a barman getting a guy drunk.
In the sketch, Hodgman plays a bartender who “gets a guy drunk in order to get his hands on his new Apple prototype.” The short was filmed last weekend in a bar in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NYC. However, it is still not clear if it would be shown today at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2010’s keynote.
