All of AT&T’s MEdia Net data plans are going away, replaced by the more generic Data moniker. In the process, it’s getting cheaper: Messaging & Data Unlimited will be just $30/month starting Jan. 25.
Previously, unlimited messaging and data through MEdia Net was $35/month, so nice job, AT&T. To be clear, that’s not for iPhone and BlackBerry, which were never on MEdia Net plans, but their own dealios. But we totally wouldn’t mind if they did cut the ridiculous messaging fees for the iPhone. [EngadgetMobile]
