Universal Studios in Japan has constructed an
Attack on Titan experience that allows guests to enjoy the feeling of being trapped inside the massive jaws of a Titan. Amazing.
The Osaka park has currently opened its doors to journalists and the images are flooding in.
Crunchyroll has a collection of park photos of the massive Titans battling it out or chomping on humans (the guests can sit in the hand of the Titan, almost right inside the slobbery jaws of the monster).
Kotaku has eyes on the ground and actually experienced a real life
Survey Corps meal. And a collection of images from inside the museum, specifically a lot of snaps of the anime characters from Titan looking “unnervingly” real. It’s creepy.
For those of you unaware, Attack on Titan is a massively popular manga and anime series set in a world where gigantic monsters (Titans) roam around eating humans, seemingly willy-nilly for no reason other than to shove flesh into their creepy smiling mouths. Humans live in a walled city, in constant fear that the Titans will smash their homes and eat their families. It’s really intense.

The whole experience is actually part of a 4-part new experience in
Universal Studio Japan, which includes a Resident Evil experience, Evangelion in Real 4-D, and a Monster Hunter area with life-sized monsters that look completely bad ass. Behold:
