Beats Electronics got control of a lot of digital music rights and technology when it acquired the streaming music service MOG last year. Now, Beats is launching a new service—Project Daisy—to sell you beats by every artist you can think of.

According to the release, the project was developed under the direction of Trent Reznor. One objective is to solve the puzzle facing the music industry—making money, for example, by selling you concert tickets and other products associated with the artist you're listening to.

There's still no word on when the service will launch.
