Please ignore the odd, awkward intro (and ending) to this otherwise mind-blisteringly awesome version of the ’90s X-Men cartoon, done with Marvel Legends action figures, a terrifying amount of work, and some serious skills. Kyle Roberts – whose excellent TMNT opening credits-redone-with-toys video you may have seen — spent took over 4,000 individual pictures and spent two months to animate and rotoscope all the special effects. It paid off, though, because the end result is… wait for it… astonishing. Oh yeah. I went there.
