Adult content covers more than pornography: gambling, erotic literature and online stores can count as adult too. The hard part is finding adult website hosting that accepts them.
Most web hosts limit the content you can publish, and the majority ban pornography and gambling outright. If you are searching for the best adult web hosting, we compared five hosts that accept adult content and checked what each one allows, where it draws the line and what it costs.
Several of them also protect your privacy with tools like WHOIS protection, as our guide to private hosting explains, and they give you the security this kind of site needs. Our shortlist comes first, and the full reviews below cover features, pros and cons.
Best adult website hosting services: shortlist
What is adult web hosting?
Adult web hosting is regular web hosting from a provider whose terms accept adult content. The servers are the same as any other host’s, but the contract differs: many hosts can suspend a site for pornography, nudity or gambling, so you need a provider that states in writing what it allows. Adult sites also lean on storage and bandwidth for images and video, so the plan you pick matters as much as the policy.
Best web hosting for adult sites: 5 hosts reviewed
Here is what each of the five hosts allows, what it costs and where it falls short. We read every provider’s content rules, and where we could, we asked support directly.
1. Hostinger

Hostinger is the best adult web hosting overall in 2026: it accepts adult-oriented sites, plans start at $2.99 a month on a 48-month term (you can get 10% off with the GIZMODO code), and eligible domains get free WHOIS privacy. Its help center says you can host adult content as long as everything is legal, respects copyright and doesn’t involve child exploitation. Manga, anime and hentai are allowed on the same terms.
It also suits an e-commerce website, but the policy doesn’t name adult stores, so ask support before you build one. The limits worth knowing are:
- Pornography and hentai must be legal, copyright-compliant and free of minors.
- Gambling scripts such as casino games, poker, slots and bingo aren’t allowed, while informational and affiliate gambling sites are.
- Erotic videos, images and writing are accepted if they follow Hostinger’s terms of service.
- Hostinger’s AI tools, including the WordPress assistant and AI Builder, won’t generate adult content.
- A site that breaks the terms can be suspended without notice, and Hostinger won’t migrate it.

Hostinger also bars content that is illegal in a specific jurisdiction and its rules name Indonesia, where pornography is prohibited, as an example. For an adult site, we would pick a US or European data center. The location screen shows a latency reading for each option, and from Switzerland ours listed Frankfurt at 14 ms and France at 19 ms (your readings will differ depending on where you connect from).

Features and price
Unlimited is the plan we would start with: It costs $3.99 a month on a 48-month term ($191.52 upfront, or $3.59 a month with code GIZMODO) and renews at $16.99 a month. It includes 50 GB of NVMe storage, unlimited websites under a fair usage policy, daily backups with an easy restore, a CDN and priority 24/7 support.
Hostinger’s own help page recommends a cloud or VPS plan for adult sites because of their resource needs. For video-heavy sites, Cloud Startup ($7.99 a month with 100 GB of NVMe storage) or a VPS such as KVM 2 ($8.99 a month) is the safer starting point. We haven’t run a video-heavy site on Hostinger, so that advice comes from the specs and from Hostinger’s own guidance.
In our review of Hostinger, a WordPress test site reached a 291 ms time to first byte and loaded fully in 733 ms with caching and the CDN switched on. hPanel keeps websites, domains, email and backups in one menu. Migration from another host is free, and Hostinger says it usually takes about 30 minutes.
The domain is free for the first year on plans of 12 months or longer, and eligible extensions get WHOIS privacy at no cost. A public WHOIS lookup on a protected domain shows Hostinger’s details instead of yours. A few extensions can’t be masked, and the .com renews at $19.99 a year. Domain Shield is a separate paid add-on that you don’t need for basic privacy.

Watch the renewal price, because the shared plans renew at 3.3 to 4.3 times the first-term rate. The 30-day money-back guarantee gives you time to test the fit.
Pros
- Accepts legal adult-oriented sites
- Free WHOIS privacy on eligible domains
- CDN and daily backups on Unlimited
- Free migration
- US and European data centers
- 30-day money-back guarantee
Cons
- Gambling scripts aren’t allowed
- AI tools won’t generate adult content
- Renewals cost up to 4.3 times the first-term price
- No phone support
2. DreamHost

DreamHost is one of the best adult website hosting options in 2026, and the most permissive on this list. Its help center says you can host adult content on any plan as long as the content is legal in the United States, and it names copyright infringement, libel and child pornography as illegal.
That makes DreamHost the safest choice for explicit sites aimed at a US audience, although US law is the only test it applies. Check the rules where you and your visitors live. The help center doesn’t mention gambling, so ask support before you launch a betting site. Read the acceptable use policy too, since it is the document that settles a dispute. We haven’t run a speed test on DreamHost for this update, so what follows comes from its help center and pricing page.

Features and price
DreamHost retired Shared Starter and Shared Unlimited, so its entry plans are now Web Hosting Launch, Growth and Scale. Launch costs $2.89 a month for the first year and renews at $10.99, or $1.99 a month on a four-year term with a renewal rate of $7.99. It includes 25 websites, 25 GB of NVMe storage, daily backups, unlimited free SSL and up to 40,000 monthly visits, which DreamHost calls an estimate rather than a hard cap.
Growth ($3.99, renewing at $12.99) raises that to 50 websites, 50 GB and 200,000 visits. Scale ($9.99, renewing at $25.99) has 100 websites, 100 GB and 400,000 visits. A video library fills 25 GB quickly, so check the storage before you commit and look at DreamHost’s VPS plans for larger sites. Renewals cost 2.6 to 3.8 times the first-year price.
The domain is free for the first year on annual plans and includes domain privacy, and DreamHost charges for the domain renewal separately. Email is free for three months with 20, 40 or 60 mailboxes, then billed on its own. Daily backups, a firewall and on-demand performance scans are included, while Bunny CDN is an optional paid add-on.
DreamHost runs data centers in Oregon, Virginia, Amsterdam and Singapore. Support is available 24/7 by chat and email, and the chat may start with an AI assistant before you reach a person. The money-back guarantee is now 30 days, and the 100% uptime guarantee pays out as a service credit. Recent additions include a Traffic Dashboard, AI writing tools and an AI website builder called Remixer.
Pros
- Accepts any content that is legal in the US
- Free domain privacy
- NVMe storage and daily backups
- 100% uptime guarantee as a service credit
- Data centers in the US, Europe and Asia
Cons
- Storage capped at 25 to 100 GB
- Renewals cost 2.6 to 3.8 times the first-year price
- Email is free for only three months
- No data center in Australia
3. Wix

In third place among the best adult website hosting services, we find Wix, a website builder with hosting included. Its content guidelines don’t impose a general ban on adult and sexually explicit content, as long as the content is legal. Wix applies zero tolerance to child sexual abuse material and non-consensual content, and that covers fictional or simulated content too.
Wix can also remove content with or without notice, and it uses automated tools with human review to find violations. If the law requires you to restrict minors, that job is yours. For those reasons, we would use Wix for erotic writing, lingerie, sex education or art, and choose DreamHost or Hostinger for explicit sites.
Features and price
Wix plans are billed annually: Light costs $17 a month, Core $29, Business $39 and Business Elite $159, and monthly billing can cost up to 41% more. Core has 50 GB of storage, a free domain for a year and five collaborators. Business raises storage to 100 GB, and Business Elite has unlimited storage.
Payments are the main catch: Wix Payments doesn’t process adult goods, fetish products or sexually oriented services, and Wix can hide those products, suspend the account or hold the funds. The Light plan doesn’t accept online payments at all. An adult store on Wix needs an outside processor built for the sector.
Pros
- No general ban on adult content in its guidelines
- Website builder with an AI agent
- Free domain for a year on Core
- Free plan for testing
Cons
- Wix Payments refuses adult goods
- Content can be removed with or without notice
- The abuse clause covers fictional and simulated content
- Shared hosting only, so it scales less than a VPS
4. Kamatera

Kamatera is one of the best adult web hosting options if you want a scalable VPS. Its terms let you host a typical adult website with minimal restrictions, and you can publish pornography or erotic images and videos as long as they are copyright-free.
Kamatera’s terms also say the content must not be exploitative and must comply with local laws. We noticed that its hosting suits gambling sites too, provided they hold the necessary licenses. If the content is legal, we found virtually no other restrictions, which puts Kamatera close to DreamHost on flexibility, although it asks more technical skill from you.
Features and price
Kamatera’s cheapest server costs $4 a month and has 1 vCPU, 1 GB of RAM, 20 GB of NVMe storage and 5 TB of traffic. You can choose Linux or Windows, and if you prefer Linux hosting, several distributions are available. Extra traffic costs $0.01 per GB and extra storage $0.05 per GB per month.
You pay for the resources you use, by the hour or by the month, with no long-term contract. A 30-day free trial gives you up to $100 of credit on one server, and Kamatera advertises a 99.95% uptime guarantee. The control panel is clear, but the initial setup can be complicated for beginners.
Pros
- Almost no adult content restrictions
- Linux and Windows servers
- Free trial with up to $100 of credit
- Hourly billing without a contract
Cons
- Setup takes technical skill
- Managed services cost extra
5. Liquid Web

Liquid Web focuses on VPS and dedicated servers, so shared hosting alternatives are worth a look if you want a cheaper start. It is one of the most open hosts about adult content and allows everything from pornography to gambling.
After we contacted the support team, they told us we could host erotic images, videos and blogs, full pornography, hentai and gambling-related content. The condition is that the content must comply with all applicable international and local laws. Liquid Web removes copyrighted content when it finds it, and all of its plans, including VPS and dedicated servers, accept mature content, so you don’t pay more for that.
Features and price
Liquid Web’s cloud VPS starts at $5 a month with 1 vCPU, 1 GB of RAM, 30 GB of SSD storage and 1 TB of bandwidth, which is enough for an average website. The next plan has 4 GB of RAM for $8.50 a month. Managed VPS plans start at $16 a month.
Every plan has root access, DDoS protection and a dedicated IP address, and Liquid Web advertises 100% network uptime. You can pick cPanel, Plesk or InterWorx as the control panel. It is among the most secure hosts for adult websites, but you won’t get many extras: there is no free domain and no free WHOIS privacy, unlike Hostinger and DreamHost.
Pros
- Every plan accepts mature content
- Root access on all plans
- Choice of control panels
- Generous bandwidth
Cons
- No free WHOIS privacy
- No free domain
- Managed VPS costs more, from $16 a month
What each host allows
The table shows how the five hosts differ on the content that most often causes trouble.
| Host | Pornography | Erotica and hentai | Gambling | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hostinger | Yes, if legal and copyright-compliant | Yes, including manga and hentai | Informational and affiliate sites only, no gambling scripts | Its AI tools won’t generate adult content |
| DreamHost | Yes, if legal in the US | Yes, if legal in the US | Not addressed in its help center | Bars copyright infringement, libel and child pornography |
| Wix | No general ban, conditions apply | Fictional or simulated abuse and non-consensual content are barred | Illegal gambling is barred | Wix Payments refuses adult goods |
| Kamatera | Yes, if legal and not exploitative | Yes, if copyright-free | Yes, with the required licenses | Very few restrictions if the content is legal |
| Liquid Web | Yes, if legal | Yes | Yes | Confirmed by its support team, copyrighted content is removed |
What adult hosting costs over four years
Entry prices hide the real difference between hosts, so we multiplied each entry rate by 48 months.
| Host | Entry plan | Monthly rate | Billing | Cost over 48 months |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hostinger | Unlimited | $3.99 | 48 months prepaid | $191.52 |
| DreamHost | Launch | $1.99 | 4 years prepaid | $95.52 |
| DreamHost | Growth | $3.49 | 4 years prepaid | $167.52 |
| Kamatera | Basic VPS | $4.00 | Monthly, no contract | $192.00 |
| Liquid Web | 1 GB RAM VPS | $5.00 | Monthly | $240.00 |
| Wix | Light | $17.00 | Annual billing | $816.00 |
| Wix | Core | $29.00 | Annual billing | $1,392.00 |
The totals exclude taxes, domain renewals and add-ons, and the plans aren’t like for like: Wix Core includes a website builder, and Hostinger and DreamHost include a free first-year domain. After the intro term, Hostinger Unlimited renews at $16.99 a month and DreamHost Launch at $7.99.
Best adult website hosting: methodology
Adult web hosting differs from regular hosting, because very few hosts allow mature content, even when it isn’t explicit. Our list of five wasn’t random. We looked for these characteristics:
- Mature content allowance was our first criterion. We reviewed the terms of service and, where we could, contacted the customer support teams to confirm that they accept adult content.
- Security and privacy matter more for mature content. We looked for WHOIS privacy, DDoS protection and malware removal, which keep the site safe and stop snoopers from reaching your sensitive data.
- Performance matters because adult sites rely on high-quality video and images that need bandwidth and fast storage.
- Storage size counts for the same reason. Entry plans range from 20 GB to 100 GB, and Wix’s top plan has unlimited storage.
- Convenience was a factor for beginners. Hostinger and DreamHost install WordPress in one click, and Wix includes a website builder.
- Timely support means 24/7 live chat, so that someone can help when a site goes down.
- Value for money was one of our most important criteria, and we favored low-cost hosts with strong features for mature content.
Popular hosting services that prohibit adult content
Mature content draws scrutiny from regulators and advocacy groups, and gambling, pornography, tobacco and alcohol are sensitive by nature. Many web hosts avoid the risk and ban anything they consider controversial.
Most providers work this way, so some very popular names don’t fit this use. We list a few below, and dozens more do the same:
- SiteGround
- InMotion Hosting
- Bluehost
- Hosting.com
- HostGator
- GreenGeeks
Bluehost’s help center, for example, bars pornographic material, nudity on photography and art sites, and the sale of adult materials. It allows lingerie stores only without nudity or adult toys. We’ve covered some of the most impressive web hosting options in 2026, but their terms of service don’t make room for mature content. Laws also differ by country: Saudi Arabia blocks porn sites, while other countries allow porn and restrict online gambling.
Hosts find it hard to follow every country’s rules, so they restrict the content that causes trouble. Read a provider’s terms of service before you subscribe. The terms change, and customers aren’t always told in advance.
Before you launch an adult website
A host’s policy is only part of the picture. These points fall on you as the site owner, and none of this is legal advice.
Age verification comes first. Since the Supreme Court upheld Texas’s age-verification law, more than two dozen states have adopted similar rules for commercial sites that publish material harmful to minors. Many of them apply once roughly a third of a site’s content falls in that category. Hosts don’t run age checks for you, and Wix’s guidelines, for example, leave age restrictions to the site owner.
Record-keeping is the second point, because US producers of sexually explicit content face documentation duties such as 18 U.S.C. § 2257. Payments are the third. Hostinger doesn’t provide a PCI DSS-compliant environment, Wix Payments refuses adult goods, and mainstream processors often restrict adult merchants, so many sites use specialists such as CCBill or Segpay.
Privacy is the last point. WHOIS privacy hides your contact details from public lookups, but your host and your payment processor still know who you are, and both answer to legal requests. Treat it as a way to avoid spam and harassment, not as anonymity.
The bottom line
Hostinger is the best adult website hosting overall, and DreamHost is the most permissive, so pick it if your content is explicit or you sell adult products. Wix suits softer content and non-explicit brands. Kamatera and Liquid Web are the VPS options if you want minimal restrictions and full control.
Hostinger and DreamHost both offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you can test the fit without losing your money.
Adult website hosting FAQ
Which web hosts allow adult content?
Hostinger, DreamHost, Wix, Kamatera and Liquid Web all accept legal adult content, with different limits. Hostinger bars gambling scripts, Wix restricts payments and can remove content, and DreamHost applies only US law. Hosts such as Bluehost, SiteGround and HostGator prohibit it.
Does Hostinger allow adult content?
Yes. Hostinger accepts adult-oriented websites, including manga, anime and hentai, as long as the content is legal, respects copyright and doesn’t involve child exploitation. It doesn’t allow gambling scripts, and its AI tools won’t generate adult content.
Does DreamHost allow adult content?
Yes. DreamHost’s help center says you can host any content that is legal in the United States, and it names copyright infringement, libel and child pornography as illegal.
Does Wix allow adult content?
Wix doesn’t ban adult content in general, but it applies strict conditions. It removes child sexual abuse material and non-consensual content, including fictional or simulated content, and it can remove other content with or without notice. Wix Payments doesn’t process adult goods.
Can I host adult content for free?
You can, but it’s never recommended. Wix is the only host on our list with a free plan, and that plan limits your storage and bandwidth and shows Wix branding. Free hosting is a poor fit for demanding content like photo galleries or video.
How much is web hosting for adult websites?
Entry plans from Hostinger and DreamHost cost only a few dollars per month on long prepaid terms, and VPS plans from Kamatera and Liquid Web start at a similar level. Renewal prices are several times higher, so compare the renewal rate as well as the first-term price.
What’s the fastest adult hosting option?
In our Hostinger tests, a WordPress site reached a 291 ms time to first byte and loaded fully in 733 ms with caching and the CDN on. We haven’t run the same test on the other hosts, so we can’t rank them on speed.
Do I need age verification for an adult website?
Probably, if you serve US visitors. Many states require commercial adult sites to verify the age of visitors, and the Supreme Court has upheld Texas’s law. Hosts don’t handle this for you, so check the rules of each state you serve and speak to a lawyer.
Can I accept payments on an adult website?
Yes, but not with every processor. Wix Payments refuses adult goods, and mainstream processors often restrict adult merchants. Many adult sites use specialized processors such as CCBill or Segpay, so confirm that your processor accepts your business before you build the store.
