It doesn’t look like The Doctor is taking the absence of the Ponds very well. BBC just aired this Christmas Special prequel minisode during the Children in Need benefit on BBC. The minisode leads right up into the Doctor Who Christmas Special (which won’t air until December 25th). Until the big Christmas debut, enjoy a dour Doctor and his collection of alien friends who are desperately trying to cheer him up.
