That clip we posted yesterday included a moment with an orb, which MTV says isn't a throw-away thing, but actually plays a big a part in the film. No word yet on if it's an Infinity Stone, as has been teased in Thor 2. [MTV]
Director James Gunn also posted a photo of Zoe Saldana and Karen Gillan practicing for a fight scene, with the caption "Check out @zoesaldana & @karengillan2 prepping for our extended fight sequence this week." [Coming Soon]
Kevin Feige was asked by Slashfilm whether or not Paul Bettany would be playing the Vision, and he gave a very noncommittal answer:
And the last thing, can we confirm Paul Bettany is going to be Vision in Avengers or is that still, we're still away from solidifying anything?
I don't think we've officially said anything.
No, I know, that's why I'm asking you.
KEVIN: But other people said that.
The Swan House in Atlanta, which served as President Snow's home in Catching Fire, is being prepared to be filmed as such once again. Jeffrey Ellis of Atlanta Creative Studios and his team are hand-painting a downstairs room as Snow's quarters, because the Atlanta History Center would not let them spray-paint it. A photo of the work-in-progress is below. [Access Atlanta]
R.L. Stine announced via Twitter that filming on a Goosebumps movie will begin next Monday, with Rob Letterman directing and Dylan Minnette and Odeya Rush co-starring. The first posters have been released — which, perhaps wisely, given all the controversy, do not feature the Turtles' faces. Instead, each Turtle gets a poster focusing on his hands, with their distinctive colors and weapons. [Slashfilm]

Ben Miller (of comedy duo Armstrong and Miller) will guest star as the villain in Mark Gatiss' episode, which'll be the third episode of the season. Said Steven Moffatt in the BBC press release:
Mark Gatiss has written us a storming villain for his new episode, and with Capaldi in the TARDIS, we knew we needed somebody special to send everybody behind the sofa. And quite frankly, it's about time Ben Miller was in Doctor Who!
Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury'll be coming back to the TV show, says Jackson:
I did! Last week! I just shot the end-of-the-season show!
You're trying to get me fired and killed [asking for details]! I don't talk about Marvel's business. None of us do.
Co-creator Graeme Manson previewed how season 2 will deal with Cosima's illness:
Being a scientist, Cosima is going to take the lead, with Delphine, in diagnosing and treating her own illness. And it's hard on her. She's such a life-affirming character to be facing her own mortality — in one sense that's really heartbreaking. In another sense, she's the character to do it. As my favorite clone, it's very difficult to put Cosima in that position, facing her own mortality. On the other hand, she digs down deep and she's a brave girl. Perhaps as brave as Sarah in her own way. I think bravery might be one of the genetic traits they do share. I don't know how you encode for that, but it's nature. They're all brave and they're all rash. But Cosima is going to have to make a few deals with the Devil to get to the bottom of her own biology and illness and step in to the belly of the beast.
He also previewed the new season's villains:
But our new villain Proletheans are driven by their belief in divine rights, but they certainly would see science as a divine right of man. Any act of man is an act of God, therefore if we can use science, then we are correct. If you are using science in the name of God then you are fine. Now if you are a godless Dr. Leekie — who is more intent on the Neolution, personal gains of evolution — then that is not serving the will of God. You can see that there are very interesting dichotomies and contradictions, as well as a more modern and realistic view of the relationship of science and religion.
He ended the interview with a few little tidbits:
There's a lot going on in that Cosima storyline and the Dyad. And some of the guys you thought we're bad guys last year may not be bad guys this year. At the end of the season we introduced Rachel, and Tatiana does a great job with her. We've just finished shooting the finale and Rachel is one complicated individual.

Halle Berry told People what drew her to the role of a recently-returned from space astronaut:
It is like the new golden age of television. As a woman, when I read this, it was such a strong character. I always gravitate toward strong, complicated woman characters. When I heard Steven Spielberg is a part of it, I thought, wow, that is another big reason to be a part of it.

Nathan Parsons (Jackson) previewed a little of what's left for this season:
Well, we've met the original vampires, now we're going to start to learn about the original werewolves and we also have some really old original witches on the show now. Basically, everyone is going to butt heads. They all want peace, but they all want it on their own terms. We're starting to see all of it spiral out of control, as much as Klaus and Elijah are trying to keep it together. Their world is being ripped apart. I can't wait for the season finale because, the way things are boiling up now, I know it's going to be explosive.
