The Brando MP4 watch is a chunky, geeky fashion statement that's actually packing some impressive features. Syncing with via USB, the watch can store MP3s, WMAs and MP4 video on its 1GB of built-in memory. Playback occurs on a small 128x128 pixel screen, but appears in a potential 65k colors. Plus, you can even record audio on the fly - for up to 8 hours.

We like the orange version quite a bit, as well as the gorgeous $98 pricetag. I hereby name this watch the perfect stocking stuffer for the upcoming holiday season. And you'll need to buy a few of them, because I celebrate Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/The Chinese New Year/MarkDay. I'm very spiritual. Hit the jump for the complete gallery.

Hi all, just a note... I own a knockoff brand of the exact same watch. It's exactly the same in every detail, except mine is only 512mb. Now that I found this site, I'd love to upgrade to the 2gb. It's a very cool gadget despite its minor drawbacks! My first OLED toy! Woohoo!!!

The color is accurate and looks great. The picture quality is surprisingly good, though maybe not quite as bright as other devices... but then how many media watches like this are out there right now? For the price I paid, I'm not complaining. This is a cool little device! Video looks really good and motion is very smooth! Plus it comes with the conversion software to convert your videos to MP4 and to convert pics too. I do agree that this is also a slight drawback; the fact that the watch cannot view jpg files. At least it comes with conversion software to take care of that too. Music sounds alright and volume can go quite loud, though I have heard better audio from other portable devices. The preset EQ settings work decent. I agree that bluetooth would absolutely push the coolness factor of this watch over the top, but hey, it's still cool! The voice recorder works surprisingly well too! Even a whisper comes through clear (no scratchy noise or static that I noticed - even though it is lower-res audio). You can store hours of audio too, which is cool. Even playing my acoustic guitar came out pretty fair. Actually better than my cell phone's voice recorder so that right there is a bonus. Now, when a song idea pops in my head, I just push a button on my watch and bam! :)

The buttons on either side look the same, but have different functions. One side is for changing tracks and the other side for volume control and mode changes. Yes it has a clock - a very cool looking one, with date, and it changes color each time the seconds indicator makes a revolution. Nice touch! (while in voice recorder mode, the watch stays on and doesn't go black). Battery life is fair and not worth complaining about because it's rechargeable.

You can store music, pics, video or any other data you can fit on the device - so it works effectively as a USB flash drive (it is USB 2.0 and it's fast enough) I didn't even need the CD for the drivers, windows XP recognized the device by itself!

My only real complaint is the strap. It unbuckles too easily as it has this huge flap that catches on everything. Fortunately, the watch will not drop off your arm even if the strap comes loose.

The watch is worth the price IMHO, if only for the geek factor alone. Very cool device! I hope they make a bluetooth version soon - that would rock! More viewable formats (like jpg, wmv, divx, etc.) would be cool, a better strap and maybe even more watch functions. All-in-all though, very happy! :)
