We’re big fans of Brian Staveley’s soon-to-be-completed trilogy The Chronicles of the Unhewn Throne: his first two books have marked him as an author to watch. Now, he’s signed with Tor for an additional four novels.
According to Staveley, he’ll be writing four standalone novels, and a couple of them will take place in the same world as The Emperor’s Blades, Providence of Fire and Last Mortal Bond.

This is exciting – we really dug The Emperor’s Blades and The Providence of Fire, and the conclusion of the trilogy, The Last Mortal Bond is one that I’m personally excited for.
