Brilliant mutant short The Gate gets a movie deal

We’re still in awe of Matt Westrup’s amazing mutant short The Gate. And it looks like Hollywood is too. This eye-popping indie production just scored a movie deal!

Deadline is reporting that Wayfare Entertainment has purchased the rights to produce and finance a feature-length version of the short The Gate. And Westrup will direct.

Amazing news. And if you haven’t watched The Gate, you should do so now.
