If you're of the mindset that encouraging a child's imagination is one of the best ways to further their development, you're gonna love these gorgeous building block sets from Huzi that has kids building trucks and race cars. And believe it or not, despite a lack of sounds, lights, and battle action, kids will probably love them too.

Made from solid wood with hidden magnets to keep the blocks connected (even during the imaginary head-on collisions they're bound to endure) Huzi's Christmas sets come in two different versions: one geared towards building trucks for $120, and one that lets kids build cars for $100.

And the blocks that serve as the upper parts of the vehicles are actually finished with a matte black chalkboard paint so kids can add windows, racing stripes, and other non-permanent features that can be easily erased again and again. [Huzi]

So for $120 you can make a truck with a possible 2 body sections, or 1 looking at the car. a
It's like there aren't these amazing things called
LEGOs
Duplex
Megablox
Kre-O
Wange
Sluban
Nanoblock
Star Diamond

Shit for that price you could proably send your kid to a day workshop where they can cut, build and paint their own box derby cars.

A toy set with 4, barely different interchangeable chassis' is about as mentaly stimulating as giving 4 black crayons and telling him to go wild with his imagination.
