I love these totally stupid recreations of movies that just use stock footage. It’s like the most twisted form of art, ripping off something that already exists with the most generic footage and then stitching the scenes all together to tell a story that only makes sense if you’ve watched the original.
But if done right, these little vignettes are funny and silly in all the right ways, parodying the film through randomness. This one by Dissolve is of a movie you can totally guess (it’s Raiders of the Lost Ark) and it’s fantastic. The chocolate Easter bunny bit was pure gold.
