The 1985 film Explorers is one of those movies that’s friends talk about in secret. If you’ve seen it, you probably love it. If you haven’t, it’s a movie you have to share. And that makes sense considering it was made by Gremlins director Joe Dante and stars Ethan Hawke and River Phoenix.

In the film, which celebrated its 30th anniversary earlier this month, a group of friends build their own spaceship and travel into space. The whole thing is crude, and very very weird—but undeniably magical, in a 1980s kind of way.

Because the film is celebrating three decades of delighting audiences, Grey Matter Art teamed with Trailers From Hell and comic book artist Francesco Francavilla to make a limited edition, screenprint for the film. And we think it’s kind of amazing. You can grab your own at this link. It’s a 24 x 36 inch poster in a very limited run of 150.
