Steven Weiss snapped some photos (with his Treo 600) of a trash can at Grand Central Station labelled “Cellphones Only.” Whether this is actually a receptacle for cellphone disposal or some bizarre prank, we don’t know.
UPDATE: Mystery solved. A few readers wrote in that “Cellphones only” receptacle is for real, and that it was part of a campaign collecting used cellphones for use by soldiers returning home from service overseas.
