Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo won the Nobel Peace Prize this morning, and China's censorship machine is already cracking down: Search results for "Nobel Peace Prize" or "Liu Xiaobo" have been banned for those within the Great Firewall of China.
I honestly can't understand it when people who used to live in China try to defend it to "the outsiders". They yammer on and on about how they lived there and it wasn't bad, etc., etc. I see it happen all the time when articles like this come up. But really. How is this type of behavior by a government possibly justifiable?
