There’s a telecom expo going on right now in Hong Kong, which helps o explain all the recent cellphone announcements and groovy mockups we’ve seen. Now Samsung is getting into the mix with a smartphone of its own, the SGH-i718. Running on Windows Mobile 5, the i718 has a 2.0-megapixel camera, microSD support and the like, but because it’s only scheduled to be released in China as of yet, it also features Chinese voice recognition. They’ve also thrown in some sort of business card reader. It also looks pretty decent. So good, in fact, there’s a few more shots after the jump.

How long the i718 remains exclusive to the Chinese market is unknown, but considering a Samsung smartphone launched just a few weeks ago, it might be a little while before we see this here—if we see it here at all.
