Chris Nolan affixed a massive IMAX camera to the nose of a Learjet for his next movie Interstellar. This is going to look like nothing we’ve ever seen before.

Interstellar was written by Nolan’s brother Jonathan, and was originally planned to be directed by Steven Spielberg. It stars Matthew McConaughey, John Lithgow, and Jessica Chastain and may (or may not) be about climate disaster.

Here’s the official synopsis: “A group of explorers make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.” And order to blow all of our minds, Nolan has jimmied one potentially amazing camera angle.

Thanks to Redditor forceduse we now have an inside look at what will surely be one of the most bananas POV shots ever. Taken from Interstellar’s Visual Effects Supervisor Paul J. Franklin‘s twitter account (which has since been shuttered) here are two images of IMAX on the jet.

Insane.
