Spanish design studio Atipo designed movie posters for 15 classic films using creatively configured sheets of paper, in the series “Papeles de Cine.”
The series was part of a promotional campaign to announce the launch “Gallery of Papers,” a website by design firm Minke. For several of the pieces,the only medium used was card stock; in these instances, the designer relied exclusively on layering, negative space, and textural effects to depict the film in question. For other posters, the designer made sparing use of one or two other media to achieve the desired aesthetic.
