Check out the trailer for Sam Esmail’s Comet. The time-jumping, nebula-cameoing romance story is channeling a lot of the things we loved about Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Not saying these movies are similar, but this trailer has a dark/light feel that gets us excited.
The synopsis that we found is simple: “Set in a parallel universe, Comet bounces back and forth over the course of an unlikely but perfectly paired couple’s six-year relationship.” Sold. Seriously, say no more, this brief plot summary and the trailer have us ready to see something fresh and wild and weird but possibly honest in the romance drama movie department. Plus, the clip (below) looks good too. Fingers crossed for this one.
