It's pretty amazing how much eye-candy Continuum boasts, considering it's a relatively low-budget Canadian import. This effects reel from the VFX studio, Artifex, shows just how much digital wizardry they manage to pack into every episode. Including some stuff you probably didn't know was CG.
For example, I didn't realize that Old Julian was a CG creation, with Richard Harmon being digitally aged. And some of the big car stunts are also all digital, as well. But the real star here is probably the CG transformation of Vancouver into a futuristic glittery dystopia, with the skyline built up and the waterfront transformed. It's really mesmerizing to see them go through it step by step. [via Artifex Studios]
