We’re pleased that D-Link is coming out with a network drive of its own, the D-Link DSM-602H Storage Media Central Home Drive, an exteral hard drive that connects directly to a home network so that anyone can share the files on it, but just 20GB? It might be the first drive using the new Universal Plug-n-Play standard which should make it easy to use, but how pathetic is that its hard drive is so tiny? Ximeta’s NetDisk comes in a 120GB version that costs less than the 20GB DSM-602H, and if you’re going to be sharing a hard drive among several users (which is the point of a network drive), you’re going to want way more than just 20GB.
