Clive Barker has been hired to pen a new Hellraiser movie. But this might a shame, because British-born, LA-based director Mike Le Han has created this short video for a theoretical Hellraiser reboot, and it’s amazing — and horrifying.
A lot of it is due to Paul Gerrard, the concept artist and production designer (who also worked on the upcoming fantasy flick Seventh Son). You can see a whole gallery of the concept art and behind-the-scenes over at the unofficial video’s official site, but here are a few of our favorites:
