This is one of the most satisfying things I've seen in a long time: watch Jar-Jar Binks—the biggest assclown in the galaxy far far away—getting killed in a deleted Star Wars scene that has been perfectly edited by fans.* Again. And again. So satisfying.
So, why did they take this scene out? Or did they? Maybe it was meant to be included, but he was going to survive the fall? Perhaps the public cheered during the test screenings and they realized they had to take it out. Or did Lucas want to kill Jar-Jar in the first place? Did ILM just make this scene on purpose to clean his reputation? Is this all a big joke by some wonderful person at ILM or elsewhere? (If it is, thank you! And please don't tell me.)
So many questions. Who cares. Watching again.
