Dell’s announcing a new thin client-server model that retains most of the processing locally, only pushing storage to the server. Sounds reasonable for applications more intense than the basic spreadsheet wrangling and hey, Dell gets to sell a lot more client hardware than if graphics and computational tasks were handled server side, too.
