The “museum” is the creation of artist C.D. Richardson, who describes the website as “the work of photographers and researchers who have explored the outer reaches of our known civilization to discover a place where its unlikely inhabitants have been stripped of their natural beauty and left with only the reality of the internal soul.” Us, we just think that it’s beautiful, creepy and compelling.
