Classic anime TV movie Toward The Terra is finally coming out on DVD. Based on Keiko Takemiya’s award-winning manga series, the 1980 movie follows Jomy, a boy who grows up in a world run by supercomputers which brainwash humans when they reach the age of fourteen. Jomy discovers he has psychic powers, and the mysterious MU organization of psychics are seeking to recruit him. It’s a crazy star-spanning epic, and judging from these screencaps, it’s gorgeous.
