It isn’t a first look, exactly, but Disney has announced its new Star Wars cartoon, which will be called Rebels. Here’s everything we (now) know:
• It will be set between Episodes III and IV
• It will be based on the concept art of Ralph McQuarrie
• Dave Filoni is executive producing it, and it seems like he’s brought a lot of his Clone Wars team on board
• Dave Filoni is no longer wearing his stupid cowboy hat in interviews
I can’t decide what I’m most excited about, the McQuarrie art direction or the hat.
