A new survey from the Pew Research Center suggests that 61 percent of Facebook users voluntarily take breaks from using the site, for weeks at a time. Does that ring true for you?
The users that were interviewed admitted that they step away from Facebook for a handful of reasons:
Lack of time to dedicate to pruning their profiles
An overall decrease in their interest in the site
A general feeling that Facebook is a major waste of time
