Doctor Who Is Work Of Satan, So Buy My Stuff

Confirming what we've been suspecting all along, a British man is selling his entire Doctor Who memorabilia collection because he's realized that the show is the "greatest lie that Satan ever told." Apparently, that man has never seen Battlestar Galactica. More about the sale of the century below the jump.

Simon White, a 47-year old man from Wiltshire, has had a somewhat turbulent relationship with Doctor Who in the past:

I had to retire early from my job as a nurse at the Royal United Hospital in Bath in 1998 because I was suffering from bipolar disorder... I turned to drink and became an alcoholic and the Dr Who obsession was the only thing that kept me going.

Saving your life doesn't count for much when Jesus is involved however; when White found God, God apparently told him to renounce all false television idols, even ones from alien planets:

God delivered me from the evil that is Dr Who, materialism and alcoholism. Through my relationship with Jesus I saw that none of this was making me happy and I was born again like Lazarus.

I love that a television show is on the same level as alcoholism and materialism for this man. Somewhere in London, BBC Television executives are cackling with glee over the penetration of their work. Of course, if Doctor Who really is the work of Satan Satan Satan, then surely selling your collection of memorabilia connected to said devilish show combines the sins of passing the evil on to someone else and profiting from it. But who said that religious righteousness had to make sense?
