Droid Eris owners, rejoice! If you haven’t already updated your phone to Android 2.1 via that firmware leak, you’ll be getting the official upgrade soon. Verizon’s begun pushing 2.1 to Eris phones, with some lucky few having already gotten the bump and the rest of you seeing it over the next several days. Verizon’s even got instructions—so you’ll know what to do when that special time comes—here (pdf).
