From Danish company NorthQ, a new progressive scan DVD player/digital video recorder with one unusual feature: you can swap out the hard drive. The NQ7100 DVD Player comes with a swappable hard drive bay so you can easily replace whatever’s in there with a much higher capacity drive whenever you want, which should certainly help forestall the NQ7100’s eventual obsolescence. There is one catch, however. You have to provide the hard drive yourself, as the NQ7100 ships without one.
