Epson, makers of all things printery, are jumping into the ring with Apple for some good old-fashioned Intel Core Duo laptop competition. Epson does manufacture PCs in the Japanese market. Their latest Endeavor line will be featuring a variety of Intel Core Duo processors that are all customizable. The entry level model will feature a T2300 Core Duo Processor that clocks at 1.66Ghz, 512MB of DDR2 ram, 40GB HD and a SXGA+ screen. This entry level model will go for a little under $1,500. I predict an Apple victory in two rounds.
