Even Back in 1965, Tiny Humans Didn’t Live in Your TV Set

Despite what Timothy Turban told me in 1970, it turns out miniature people (or deer as the case may be) don’t live in your TV set after all. This pamphlet from the mid-1960s explains it all to you. TV comes from vacuum tubes, a roof antenna, and a bunch of other electronic doohickeys, none of which shrink, disassemble, or reassemble people, things, or infomercial hosts.

From What Makes TV Work? (1965) by Scott Corbett, illustrated by Len Darwin.
