wow...remind me never to become a businessmen
i love linux...its openness, and its price. I'm truly by no strech of the imagination a computer wiz, but i'm curious and probably play around and keep up to date with all the goings on in the OS and gizmo world. While i have played around on linux and know for fact that an average user could most likely handle it (especailly when they figure out the apt-get, which would take them all of a few minutes to find) it still seemed to me that, despite its simplicity, that this project would fail.
Based on the desctiption, gOS sounded crappy, and the PC has extra comonents in it that it wasnt even using, which, while doesnt do anything directly, seemed to imply that the machine itself was poorly put together.
Surprise surprise, all people want is a cheap computer which will handel their basic everyday tasks on the net. Let's just see how many returns wal-mart gets. At this point though, my bet is that they dont get too many of those.
