Although we enjoy using Skype to talk with our parents our hos in different area codes, its lousy 320×240 quality makes even YouTube look great. Good thing some developer named Jason came up with a sweet “hack”—more like a tweak—to get your Skype video up to 640×480.
Just grab the latest version of Skype for PC/Mac, and find a certain file and change the dimensions to 640 and 480. Easy peasy on the Mac, but the Windows version requires a bit more tweaking thanks to the various webcams available.
