Now, it's not just Yanks and the Japanese who can update their location on Facebook. From today, the UK and Europe can access the opt-out service too. This is yet another reason for those fighty Brits and Germans to get up-in-arms about their online privacy. [The Guardian]
UPDATE: I'm waiting to hear from Facebook as to which European countries will have access to Places, and when.
UPDATE 2: Facebook confirmed it's only been switched on for the UK today, but Europe will be "soon."
