Have you ever thought that Metropolis needed a 21st Century makeover based on the music of emo band Fall Out Boy? If so, then it appears that Image Comics agrees with you. Welcome to Fall Out Toy Works.

The new five issue series, created by Fall Out Boy lead singer Pete Wentz and designer Darren Romanelli, is "inspired by the ideas and music" of the band, as interpreted by Wintermen writer Brett Lewis and artist Sam Basri. The story will be created around the song "Tiffany Blews," from last year's Folie à Deux album, and according to the press release, "tells the story of a brilliant young robot maker who risks his entire company for his factory's newly produced android named Tiffany as she becomes his greatest passion and potentially his own destruction." Wentz is thinking that the story is much larger than just five issues of comic:

It's more than a comic too. In the end, it will be a graphic novel, clothing, web site and possible toys themselves.
