We may think of ants as industrious little creatures constantly toiling for the sake of the hive. But Andrey Pavlov’s photographs imagine how ants might spend their free time, in lightly fantastical scenes.
Although his photos are obviously staged, he uses real ants. I’m not sure if the ants in question are dead or manipulated in post-production, but he manages to create magical, and strangely adorable, scenes.
