Warner Bros. is clearly worried about Jupiter Ascending. Sure, it looks gorgeous, but it also looks so damn weird — which is presumably why WB released this three-minute trailer just a week before the film’s release which seems to explain everything that’s going to happen in the movie, in chronological order.
I’m afraid the Wachowskis have another amazing film that will bomb at the box office on their hands. I hope not, but I just don’t think that “Channing Tatum as a space-elf” is a concept that humanity is quite ready for yet.
