First HD radio goes on sale

The first HD radio receiver went on sale a couple of days ago. The Kenwood KTC-HR100 uses iBiquity’s digital radio technology. The only problem is that there aren’t a whole lot of radio stations broadcasting in HD (yet), but to make matters worse, the decision to adopt HD radio as the standard here in the US is at odds with the Digital Audio Broadcasting, or DAB, and Digital Radio Mondiale, or DRM, digital radio standards that prevails elsewhere.
