From Roku, the first digital media adapter designed specifically for use with high-definition televisions. Besides being able to stream MP3s from a PC to your stereo (something which doesn’t require you to have a television), the Roku HD1000 takes advantage of better quality of a high-definition television to display photos at a resolution that isn’t possible on a regular telelvision. To sweeten the deal, they’re also selling CompactFlash cards with packs of high-resolution images of famous paintings and nature scenes, and high-definition videos of stuff like an extremely realistic-looking aquarium.
