New from Audiovox, the first Pocket PC Phone compatible with Verizon’s high-speed 1xEV-DO data network (which is able to get speeds of up to 500Kbps but is only available in San Diego and Washington, D.C. at the moment). The new PPC 5050 runs on the 2003 version of the Windows Mobile operating system and has a 400MHz processor, 64MB of RAM, and an SD memory card slot. Should be out within the next few months.
