If Steve Jobs fails to announce an ultraportable MacBook at next month's Macworld Expo, Apple fanboys might be able to find solace in Fujitsu's LifeBook P7230. Like the current MacBook, it'll be available in black or white and sport a clean, curvy design. The P7230, however, is a 10-inch ultraportable, which means it'll be considerably smaller than Apple's chubbier MacBook and maybe even weigh less than the mythical Apple 12-inch notebook. Plus, the P7230 will use Intel's ultra-low voltage CPU, giving it an 11-hour battery life. It's expected to come out soon, maybe even at CES. I can only hope.

Don't really see the resemblance to a MacBook, especially with the two-tone chassis... No square chiclet keys, the LCD hinge isn't behind the notebook, it's not a front facing slot load optical and all the ports aren't lined up on the left and right sides.

These look like your garden variety PC-compatible notebook with slightly cleaner lines and ThinkPad overtones.

Maybe someone was thinking of this concept Fujitsu when they thought "Mac"?
