Now that they’ve converted the film to 3-D and (reportedly) increased its Channing Tatum levels, Paramount needs to remind people that the G.I. Joe movie sequel Retaliation is actually coming out on March 29th (unless they decide to postpone it again at the last second). Step one: 1) this new trailer, full of new footage including ninjas, Bruce Willis, crazy military vehicles (something direly missing in the first movie) and more ninjas. Step two: Put an exclusive four-minute preview of the movie in front of Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters when it opens on March 1st. It’s not the most foolproof plan, but it is a better plan than sending four guys in a white rental van to stop terrorists from blowing up the Eiffel Tower.
