Article in the New York Times today about the use and abuse of gadgets in high schools these days and how teachers are almost totally clueless about what’s going on. The gadgety hijinks mainly consist of students using wristwatch calculators to cheat on tests or sending text messages with their cellphones while in class, but we’re mightily impressed with the kid at Stuyvesant High School who bought a universal remote and then just walked through the hallways remotely switching on TVs in all the classrooms.
